Mission Statement

FLA (Feminism and Lesbian Art working group) is promoting lesbian artists' network though our presentation on web-based technology and offline activities. As our theoretical tool, FLA is introducing lesbian feminism and striving toward meta analyses of art in heterosexism.






What is "iratsume ?"

Meaning "girl" in Japanese language more than one thousand years ago. It turned out be "prostitute" sometime, and also "female entertainer." In current Japanese, this word is dead, but we wake it up for our group name.
